Have you ever had a day (or a week) where you thought "I'd just like to take off somewhere, anywhere to see something new?
But of course life and responsibilities get in the way.
Then a few things happen that change your perspective and your situation.
- Retirement
- Loss of Loved Ones
- An Inheritance
- The Aha moment
So to where should I travel? 🤔 Europe, take a cruise to Alaska, Portugal where I've wanted to go since my sister went and loved it? But deep down I have a strong desire to see more of my own country. And specifically the Maritimes. And it has to be by road. And because this road trip will take several weeks I can't imagine not taking my dog with me. And because my hubby, despite being a wonderful man, does not want to travel anymore, it will be just me and my canine companion, Kismet, in our camper van, Fern. Travel routes have been set, plans are in place to meet up with friends and family along the way and the ferry is booked to and from Newfoundland. But everyday I think of something else that needs to either be planned, purchased or packed. We will get there!
